• Stephen Heidari-Robinson

    Stephen is the co-author of "Reorg - How to Get It Right" and the co-founder and managing director of Quartz Associates. His experience of organisations spans government, business and not for profit.  At McKinsey & Company, he led the organisation practice for energy clients and the firm's thinking on implementing reorganisations. Stephen has also worked as Prime Minister David Cameron's advisor on energy and environment, a vice president at Schlumberger, head of the corporate program of Asia House, and a manager in the UK Ministry of Defence. His career has taken him across the US, Europe, Middle East and India, and he is a fluent Farsi speaker.  Stephen is a senior visiting fellow at Oxford University.  He studied at Oxford and London Universities and spent much of his youth swimming, coming third in England at 5km.

  • Suzanne Heywood

    Suzanne is the co-author of "Reorg - How to Get It Right" and the co-founder and chair of Quartz Associates, the firm we set up to help companies deliver the lessons from the book.  She is Managing Director, Exor Group and sits on the Board of a number of companies including The Economist and CNH Industrial. Suzanne is also Deputy Chair of the Royal Opera House in London. She started her career in the UK Treasury and then worked at McKinsey & Company, which she left as a Director (Senior Partner) having co-led, for several years, McKinsey’s Organization Design Service Line globally.  Suzanne studied at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.  As a child she spent ten years sailing around the world on the yacht Wavewalker, during which time she taught herself by correspondence course.  Suzanne is currently writing a book about her extraordinary childhood experiences.  For details see: www.wavewalker.co.uk
